Consider this a PSA: if you are not already reading sarahck 's blog, you should bookmark it right away! You might laugh, or cry, or both, but you will be glad you did. I love this takeaway from her road warrior trips around South Carolina "...There’s a different quality of information that I get when I sit down with people face-to-face. I build rapport and relationships with people. I show them they’re important to me when I go to the trouble to come to them. They are more honest and forthcoming about issues, challenges, and concerns when I visit them individually, which makes me a more effective support for them. I get to see their creative ideas and beautiful spaces firsthand, and can provide to our funders and partners a richer depiction of Centering at all these different places as a result." Have you recently had a visit from a local partner, or CHI consultant or staff? What did the visit mean to you?
