Lisa is an active duty Hospital Corpsman who works in the OB clinic at Naval Hospital Camp Lejeune. She is also the proud Mother of adorable Cambria. Below is her Centering story. Being dual military can sometimes be a challenge. It can often mean that some of life’s experiences are done independently. During my pregnancy my husband was deployed and my family lives in a different part of the country. Centering gave me the opportunity to meet women who were experiencing the same challenges during their pregnancies. Having women with different personalities, ages, and views provided me with the ability to obtain information from questions that I may never have thought to ask. My facilitators were amazing!
