We're honored that CenteringPregnancy has been recognized for the second time in a row as a successful strategy to improve maternal and child health outcomes in the newly released Prenatal-to-3 (PN-3) State Policy Roadmap. Hi everyone!
I hope you are all doing well. My name is Maddie Kim and I am a Research Associate at the Prenatal-to-3 Policy Impact Center at The University of Texas at Austin. I am reaching out because our Center launched the 2021 State Policy Roadmap last week with our virtual summit, and we will be hosting a series of online workshops over the next month to offer participants a deeper dive into specific policies and programs. On Wednesday, November 3rd, we will be hosting a webinar focused on how states can use Medicaid to support programs including group prenatal care, Early Intervention, home visiting, and comprehensive screening programs such as HealthySteps and Family Connects.
We would love to have someone at our workshop to speak about the creation an enhanced reimbursement rate in their state, particularly during our group prenatal care breakout session. The workshop is slated to run from 1:00-2:30pm CT, but speakers would be asked to join a few minutes early for set-up, so the time commitment would be from approximately 12:45 to 2:30pm CT.
If anyone is available and interested, please let us know and we will follow up with further information. You can email me at madeleine.kim@austin.utexas.edu
Thanks all!
Maddie Kim
