I am interested in Centering because: I feel it is the best way to get pregnancy care! Especially seeing how teens are with the model!

In the face of COVID-19 and the uncertainty of anything in the future, we are adapting to Virtual Centering Pregnancy groups and continuously working on our budget/expenses.
Has anyone had any experience with Motherboard? How much it costs? Has it been helpful?

I subscribed at their launch, so I got a pretty nice discount in the first few months. I now pay 29.99/mo. for access to Educator Portal (educator only) [m]otherboard Birth is awesome for the educational content. I love that they are very conscious around inclusivity - they use non-gendered language. The photos and illustrations are amazing! I have been a fan of Amy Haderer for a long time. She is an artist and doula who came up with this digital birth planning tool. They have patient handouts that you can print or make available digitally to your clients. I mostly use the slideshows as an accessory to our virtual Centering groups. Its great for the labor/birth sessions, breastfeeding/chestfeeding/lactation discussions, and postpartum. I also refer clients to their website often as a resource. Even though the majority of the content is blocked out unless you pay for their service, BUT on the right side of the topic pages there a great links to other websites. Look under Learn More. |

So our provider found a few unsettling posts on Facebook about some recent events with Motherboard.
1. I'm curious if anyone else has heard anything.
2. Are there other sites that are similar to motherboard that are just as useful?

I will have to check out their facebook feed. I am curious about what you are referring to. I know that they are in the process of something like a business restructure. I have heard good things about www.plumtreebaby.com/ We used them to purchase templates for customizable Powerpoint presentations. |
