Please feel free to add if I've missed anything! Despite the small crew we moved plans forward for the in-person meeting and had a very helpful and vibrant conversation about enrollment & retention. No tech issues this time Participants Ali Phipps, Birth Options & Wise Women (Wauwatosa) Jerri Ustby-Cruz Bye, UW (Madison) Lezli Redmond, UW Kara Mulligan, UW Marilyn Noll, March of Dimes (Milwaukee) Tanya Munroe, CHI In-person meeting • Friday in March or early April, Doodle poll posted in CenteringConnects • Think about topic areas to highlight and experts we may invite Wisconsin Centering Network Sept 2015 meeting.pdf (274.56 KB) • Birth Options & Wise Women could host depending on how many people (up to 50?) November Prematurity Awareness Month & Day 17th - let's capitalize on the opportunity to publicize Centering and the impact we are having! Talk with your public relations, marketing and community partners to get the word out. May be opportunities to publicize with Lifecourse group at United Way. Enhanced Reimbursement - how can March of Dimes help lobby for better reimbursement for Centering? Enrollment & Retention Discussion • UW experiencing enrollment & retention challenges typical of new sites and sites with turnover. Margie Rickell (CHI consultant) is a resource as are the Consortium and CenteringConnects. • Birth Options & Wise Women has more interest than spots in Centering due to the # of providers and available slots for group, current group has 14 enrolled!
