Can anyone please share advice on how to get the Business Associates Agreement approved by your Compliance Department? I also could use names of other hospital systems using this new tool. Thanks in advance for any help.

We have BAAs in place with close to 100 sites at this point - some sign the CHI BAA and some send their BAA to CHI for review and signature. I hope some folks chime in with advice here!

Hi Jennifer, This may not be helpful, but it is a reality... A site near me said they drove for a couple hours and went directly to see the executive assistant to get access to the BAA point of contact. While this seems ridiculous, they were successful and I am thinking about employing a similar tactic. After 1 reply and 1 conversation, I have emailed our legal counsel 5 times, sent skype messages, and have heard nothing back. Our organization unfortunately will not sign the CHI BAA, they want one of their own, with their letter head and their attorneys to review. One of my co-facilitators suggested sending an email to inquire where the BAA is at on their priority list, and mention it is #1 on my list. It is frustrating, for certain. And I am beyond grateful you posted this because I am hopeful some responses will get us to our goal! All the best, Jo
