Hi Centering Friends!
I am in process of completing our annual report for our Site Approval.
I have one staff member who has been emailed the staff survey, opened it, completed it, and submitted it. However, it is not registering in CenteringCounts. I have attempted to manually enter her results per the written instructions, and when I submit that form, it again does not register.
Any ideas? I'm sure its a little glitch, but any help is appreciated!
Thanks! Rachel

Hi Rachel
Are you receiving any error messages when you submit the survey or does it appear to accept the submission but not display the results? Are survey results from other staff being saved correctly? [Meaning, is this one staff member the only one you are experiencing the issue with] Which web browser are you using?
The more information we can gather on the situation the better we can troubleshoot. Thanks

Hi! I am too having problems entering staff survey manually. I have followed all the instruction on manual guide but when I click the blue button "Enter Survey Results" the pages just blinks and does not prompt to enter surbey's.
Help!

Hi Jon,
Sorry for the late response. I was on vacation the last week. Here are the answers to your additional questions:
1. I am not receiving any error message. It appears to accept the survey results but does not display the results or update that the staff member for whom I am manually entering the results has completed the survey.
2. Survey results from other staff are being saved correctly, but they have all completed the survey through email link without difficulties. I am only trying to enter the manual results for one staff member who has received the email link, clicked it, completed it, submitted it. However, CenteringCounts is not registering that she completed the email survey. So I enter it manually and again it does not register.
3. I am using Firefox, but have also tried Chrome without any different outcomes.
Thanks,
Rachel

We believe we have found the culprit!! You have to make sure pop-ups and the opening of new tabs from the current tab is NOT blocked in your browser. Entering a survey manually will open a new tab for you to enter data in, and behaves like a pop-up which could trigger a block by your security settings.
In Chrome a tiny message appears in the top right corner of your screen (next to the magnifying glass and bookmark star) indicating the pop-up has been blocked. You can click that alert and allows pop-ups in the future.

Hi Tanya!
I just tried again in Chrome and made sure my popups were off and I'm getting the exact same thing. Looks like the survey is completed and submitted, but does not register that I input a specific staff's response.
Any chance I can speak with someone directly about this? Our site visit is in 1 week.
Thanks so much! Rachel

Maybe my question now is more directly how to ensure that when I manually submit survey results that the results get associated with a specific staff member listed on the "Surveys" page under the annual report section in CenteringCounts. Right now it seems like my results are just submitted into cyberspace rather than communicating back to CenteringCounts, and therefore preventing me from creating the report.
Thanks again!

I just retested and manual entry of survey results is working fine for both surveys: - EE Survey is connected to the facilitator
- Staff Survey is anonymous and listed by "role"
One thing I noticed is that when you manually enter the EE survey results, the status for that facilitator survey still says "in progress," it should say "survey completed." We'll ask for that change to be made.
Rachel can we hop on a call next week and go step by step through so I can see what you are experiencing? Maybe Thursday afternoon or Friday morning? Feel free to email me, I'd love to help you sort this out!

Hi Jon and Tanya,
Would one of you be able to assist in reset our annual report? I had to make some changes after talking with Tanya the other day and now I cannot edit and save the changes into a new annual report.
Thanks! Rachel
