I was wondering what happens if we choose to remove a patient from the group. We try to gather any birth info for anyone that was in Centering for even 1 session, so I'm wondering if that data is captured if they are removed from the group. Does that patient and outcomes still factor into our statistics and reports?

Hi Alison,
If you remove a patient, they will disappear from the group view and you will not be able to add outcomes for them. You can reinstate them if they leave and come back, however. If you might be able to capture their outcomes later even if they never come back to group, I'd leave them in the group until you know for sure.

Similar question: "Is there a way in the add/edit outcomes that Pt transferred unknown if live birth can be put in. I have a patient that transferred after 2 visits what should I put for outcome?" A: You can either leave the outcome blank or remove the patient from the group. The reason would be "transferred care" as illustrated here: help.centeringcounts.org/help/manage-groups#4-7-remove-patient
