Dr. James in NPR Article on Racial Stress & Black Inf. Mort.

I wanted to share that Dr. James was quoted in this NPR article published this morning. The article highlights the racial disparity between black and white infant mortality, specifically about the stress of racism influencing these outcomes. The unique U.S. black infant mortality problem is alarming. As an organization we are proud and grateful to the individuals and organizations that we are in partnership with to change the way healthcare is provided and to Dr. James (a CHI board member quoted in the article) for his care, advocacy and work to change this in the U.S.
