Theme: Reducing Disparities in Birth Outcomes and Maternal Chronic Disease
Purpose: To inform, advance and leverage strategic partnerships towards improving birth outcomes in Georgia
Medical and health professionals from across the state are invited to participate in this day-long event which includes presentations, panels, and question-and-answer sessions, developed in conjunction with national and regional maternal and child health experts.
The day will begin with an overview of the perinatal landscape in Georgia and feature dynamic speakers who will address the health of women and children in our state. The theme will focus on reducing disparities in birth outcomes and maternal mortality. Presentations will include information about the fetal and infant mortality crisis, eliminating early elective deliveries and more.
