An applicant has asked
We are interested in applying to be a CRLP site, and have a question about the application. We need some guidance on reporting numbers of specific providers at our clinic. Our CenteringPregnancy groups fall under our Center for Women's Health, but the larger organization of also oversees a family medicine practice that has a CenteringParenting program. They are located in the same building with us and collaborate with us on a number of projects, including Centering promotion and recruitment. Additionally larger organization oversees Women's Health Services, which includes the Labor and Delivery and Postpartum units, as well as the NICU. Which providers do we include in our counts?

We understand that this question can be challenging, especially for large healthcare systems and academic centers with specialty practices. Provider buy-in is a crucial component for implementation and sustainability. Our intent is to try to understand the potential for expansion of Centering, including CenteringPregnancy, CenteringParenting, as well as other visit types that could benefit from the Centering model. The good news is that you have ample opportunity to provide narrative around how you anticipate scaling Centering over the initial 36 month partnership period. Our suggestion would be to limit your responses to include just those locations, practices, visit types that fit into your short term expansion plans.

When the application is asking about students, you are not asking about residents correct?

I assume you are referring to the question of whether your pratice is a teaching practice. Yes, please include residents in your "student" totals.
