Hello everyone. My name is Monique Idley. I am a Community Health Worker at CCAG. I work as a CHW to increase infant vitality. I've been working as a Community Health Worker for over 3 years now. I love helping the moms during and after their pregnancy to help decrease their stressors and barriers. I am anxious to also become a trained facilitator as well. Nice to meet everyone.

Hello everyone, my name is Marycarmen and I am the prenatal health educator at La Clinica's San Antonio Neighborhood Health Center, one of their three community clinics in Oakland, California. I've been working at this clinic almost five months now and I've been absorbing new information since I started here. As of right now, I offer birth control counseling to people, run pregnancy tests and if positive I begin the onboarding prenatal care for the patient. Additionally, I support pregnant patients throughout their pregnancies checking on them at least once during every semester of their pregnancy and then during their postpartum period as well.
Outside of the health clinic I work at I am also a full spectrum doula and Indigenous ceremony holder and so I support folks with and through spontaneous and non-spontaneous abortions, labor, postpartum period, closing of the hips ceremonies, etc. I am deeply passionate about the support I offer and so I am thrilled to be adding another tool to my kit and am happy to be expanding my knowledge on child birth classes and especially leading group classes.
