I realize populations vary by location and clinic, but I'm curious whether there's any consistency in the optimal number of folks present. We have large groups, usually 10 patients and each patient usually brings a partner. Personally I find a group of 20 a little on the large side .. and have noticed conversation and community thrives when the group is smaller, 12-14 seems to be the magic range. I'd love to hear others' experiences with group sizes...

I am interested in Centering because: I feel it is the best way to get pregnancy care! Especially seeing how teens are with the model!

We have realized that 6-8 works perfectly for us... The bigger groups that have 10 or more tend to just be too big to give the teens what they want and need... Our providers in traditional clinic also tend to only see 6 during a traditional setting so it works for our clinic...
