Hello!
Our CenteringPregnancy is in a large clinic, and we have had a lot of turnover in the last two years, which makes it really difficult to 'stay important,' as we use the main conference room in the building. We are trying to secure another unused space in the building, but because of turnover, we keep getting push back. The medical director of the site (a friend and supporter of Centering) finally said, "I want to give you the room, but I need research on the importance of having a dedicated space" for group care. Please help me! I don't have access to journals but need to get him something ASAP. We keep getting kicked out of our space, into a small space in the back of the clinic, where there are lots of sick patients, and the room has floor to ceiling boxes of medical equipment which turns me into a babysitter because we often have 1-3 year olds that come with their mom.
Any articles/white papers discussing the importance of a dedicated space for group care? It doesn't matter whether it's for prenatal care or something else.
Thank you!
